The elite of the Republican party lead "true" patriot types around by a ring in their nose with a few trite remarks.

Bush, Rove et. al. wave the flag and talk tough but are totally phony - they are just tools of big corporations and their rich friends -tax cuts for the rich.

Everything, even war, is a political calculation for them.
