Ah but try to supply Chinu or AS with a URL to verify a reference and the site, newspaper or TV station becomes a Republican mouthpiece and lacks credibility. Now dealing with an issue in which politics is not the question, Chinu provides a URL from a weak site that is contradicted by sites that provide relatively high level acceptance for truth. Urban Myths etc being among those. Yet he fails to recognize the Urban Myths findings or provide any posting more than a few years old that attributes the quote to Jefferson. Not only that not one quote can be found at any time on the internet that provides the origin of the alleged quote and when Jefferson made it or where it can be found in historical documents.
