That's a funny analogy! From my point of view, if you kick the hornets nest at night, you'll miss a lot of hornets and they will just build another nest a couple of weeks down the road, probably higher in the rafters! Better to get that ladder put up right next to the nest, cover yourself with protective gear and blast the poison until the nest falls and you kill a whole grunch of them in one swoop. :-) Oh one last thing, you can't tell the wife your doing this or she will stand under the ladder yelling up at you to call the exterminator "it's to dangerous are you crazy"! LOL
