Spin it anyway you want, the fact is that there was plenty of evidence that Saddam was a serious threat to the world, and any mitigating evidence was available to Congress as well as to intelligence agencies the world over who believed it, and no doubt believed it rightly, given all that's come out since the war concerning the grand coverup in Iraq.
