If any animal is killed for other reasons than for food, or to stop an attack by said animal, it is a crime, IMO.
Morally and ethically? Yeah, II'd go along with that. Legally? Not it your lifetime or mine.

I googled "fox recipes" to be be sure. No relevant hits. :-)

and they do not present a threat because of their size, and tendency to run and hide instead of attack.
They do raid domestic fowl. And but that ISN'T the reason those fox hunters are out there.

If those namby pamby fops were faced with an animal like a lion, or a wolf, they would crap in their fancy pants.
