chinu. You said...."Bush abandoned his war on terror by going into Iraq. If he was still fighting a war against terror and making some progress then why is it so late in the game Jordan has to jump in and defend itself against terror.".....

American troops are fighting and killing islam terrorists every day in Iraq. You call that abandoning the fight against islam terror? Don't talk so foolish.

There really must be something wrong with your mind.

If someone attacks your family will you fight back against them? The islamic terrorists attacked Jordan, and their leader said he would behead the king of Jordan...Jordan would fight back regardless of what Bush is doing. If you paid even a tiny bit of attention as to what may be going on you would be aware that Jordan has been an ally of the USA from day one in the war against islamic terror...now they have declared all out war against the islamic terrorists.

Here is a really dumb statement from you...."why is it so late in the game Jordan has to jump in and defend itself against terror.".....

Who in hell do you think should defend Jordan?? the USA

chinu. You said...."And it is not Islam terror since a "true" Islam follower (which Osama claims he is) does not attack fellow Muslims whether in Iraq or Jordan."....

They should not be killing any innocent people whether they are moslum or not.... I notice you left that out...maybe it's just the way you really see things.

The king of Jordan thinks they are islamic militants and I think he has a better handle on things over there than you so I believe him not your foolishness.

Abdullah calls for new laws against terrorism and then goes on to describe who he is referring too. ISLAMIC MILITANTS are the terrorists he is referring to. Do you understand?

Abdullah also called for a new anti-terrorism law to replace the current, general one that does not specify punishment for different terrorist acts and their perpetrators.

"At the same time, it reaffirms our need to adopt a comprehensive strategy to confront the Takfiri culture," Abdullah said, referring to the ideology adopted by al-Qaida and other Islamic militants who condone the killing of those they consider infidels.

The king called for a "relentless war on all the Takfiri schools, which embrace extremism, backwardness, isolation and darkness and are fed on the ignorance and naivete of simple people."

He said fatwas, or religious edicts, issued by such groups constitute a "threat on the society and its interests."
