I'd say he made another key mistake thinking people would hire him. It's like hiring the guy who Captained the Exxon Valdez to run another tanker, because he's learned SUCH valuable lessons from the first disaster he caused. Wouldn't you rather hire a guy who didn't have to acknowledge key mistakes? A guy like this, maybe?

In general, big businesses like Wal-Mart, Federal Express and Home Depot handled the disasters quite well. The last Brown should be taking lessons from THEM, not seeking to advise anyone...
