Orientals? Isn't that a term pre AA? OOOPS I'm busted! Call the PC police. Have you ever noticed that the Asians [aka Orientals in your world] have completed more education on average than the Caucasians but make less $$$ than the less educated Caucasions. Uh, no, actually, I haven't. What I HAVE seen are lots of Oriental (THERE'S THAT WORD!) who are engineers, managers, and CEO who make just as much s their Caucasian counterparts. Why? You got the data to prove me wrong?
