You would think after, what, seven or eight years of this I would have learned a bit about momentum versus bottomfishing, but I never did. I will remind folks that being 94% cash keeps me from beating up too much on myself. My stock selection sucks, but at least I know that my stocks will suck, and so it has not hurt me. We do tend to reflect back on our mistakes of the year--and give thanks that we did not make even larger mistakes. My gain for the year will be about 4% thanks to the cash.
