Haqihana, Re Princess Diana, it or was the medical custom in Paris to provide on-site medical treatment rather than to whisk the injured directly to an appropriate hospital is as done here in the US of A.

Princess Diana was "messed" with by the Paris equivalent of paramedics for over an hour before being taken to a hospital which had diagnostic and life-saving equipment and trauma surgeons.

Many (but not all) in the international medical community believe she might (emphasis on might) have lived had she been taken directly to a hospital with awaiting trauma surgeons and a readied surgical suite.

Again, this is/was the way medical emergencies are/were handled in Paris, so please do not read anything sinister into what was/wasn't done. - Holly

"I sure as hell wasn't in Paris"

Rumour has it that you were hatching plots with the Queen. Rumour has it that you were grinding oleander and hatching a fake accident to cover it.

The first responders stated right away when they arrived: "This looks like a fake accident. This car has been towed to this spot. This lady is suffering from acute oleander poisoning."
