Klondike Drilling Provides Initial Encouragement; New World Acquires Strategic Holdings in Nevada

Friday November 25, 12:08 pm ET

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 25, 2005) - New World Resource Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:NW - News) reports preliminary results on the 2005 rotary percussion drilling program on its McFaull property in the Klondike goldfields, Yukon Territory. The program was carried out between July 20, 2005 and August 21, 2005. A total of 1,800 meters was drilled in 43 holes.

The objectives of the McFaull exploration program were to better define the known listwanite alteration zone located in the bedrock of the Paradise Hill placer gold-mine workings, and to explore for gold bearing veins within and proximal to this zone. Listwanite is a carbonate alteration of ultramafic rocks, and is thought to be associated with high-grade "bonanza type" California Motherlode gold vein deposits.

The property was systematically drilled on an established grid covering a strike length of 1000 meters by 200 meters wide. To date, the Company has received approximately 70% of the 600 samples submitted for analysis to Acme Analytical laboratories in Vancouver.

Although only anomalous gold values have been intersected to date, the results provide information to assist in the building of a geological target model for further drilling. Of note, drill hole PPH-46 intersected 12.2 metres grading 0.63 grams per tonne gold, commencing at a down-hole depth of 12.2 metres. Significantly, this drill hole is the last hole on the most southern line of drilling, leaving the area to the immediate south and west untested.

The gold values received to date occur at the contact between the ultramafics and the underlying schist. In an effort to explore and better understand this occurrence, the Company intends to extend the test area to the southwest, in the next field season.

Quality Control and Assurance

Under the supervision of a technician, sample bags were sealed and stored, pending secured transport for analysis. All samples were analyzed for 36 elements using an ICP mass spectrometer at ACME Analytical Laboratories Ltd. of Vancouver. Metallic screen analysis using fire assay was performed on all samples greater than 100 ppb gold.

Exploration work was conducted under the supervision of Joan McCorquodale, P.Geo, Vice President, Exploration who was the qualified person, as defined in NI 43-101, on the project and is responsible for the preparation of the information contained in this news release.

NEVADA EXPLORATION CLAIMS

Separately, the Company recently has staked 327 claims in the Bald Mountain region of northeastern Nevada. These claims, known as the Long Valley project, encompass a total 6756 acres and cover approximately 8.8 miles of what is believed to be the projected extension of an important north-northwest trending structure on the edge of the pediment. Initial prospecting has revealed outcrops of silicified breccias similar to those found in the nearby Alligator Ridge area. The Bald Mountain, Alligator Ridge area is an established gold producing region of Eastern Nevada currently being actively explored by Placer Dome Inc. The company continues to review property submissions for potential acquisition - from grassroots to advanced exploration.
