Tell us what Google spends its revenues on.

You tell me. What was Google's capital spending last year?

Forget PC's, think servers.

How many servers did Google buy last year? Are they a 10% customer for any of the server makers? This is the only statement that supports the idea that Google growth will drive growth in the rest of tech. So tell us, how many $ did Google spend on servers last year? Is it a significant number compared to IBM, HPQ, Dell and SUNW server sales?

Forget cellphones, think smartphones.

How many smartphones did Google buy last year? Not enough to move the tech radar.

Google's software portfolio is obvious, starting with its proprietary search algorythms.

So how many of these algorithms did they sell last year? Zero? What was their proprietary search revenue as a % of ORCL's sales? Less than 1%?

Aren't most google employees software engineers? Any company with that proportion of software engineers is a tech company.

You can call it whatever you want, the point is Google growth has little to do with growth in classic tech. You've said nothing to dispute that other than the claim that perhaps Google is buying a lot of servers....
