mannie~

Hope you are well and enjoying the cold, you must be well into winter by now.

Yup, this week we dived right into it!
Last weekend, it was about 40F and the ground
was bare where we were hiking.
Yesterday, it was about 8 F. and there
was a couple of inches of snow down with more
coming down when I was out for my morning
wander through the fields. Lots of deer,
fox, coyote and snowshoe hare tracks everywhere
in the fields and woods by my place. I always
forget about how much fun that is when we
begin to get fresh snow and every walk
is made just a little more interesting by
the story told by all of the animal tracks.

Supposed to go up to around 50 with rain
early this week, then dive down again after.
I don't really mind one or the other, but it's
always a bit of a challenge to adjust to the change
when the temperature is zipping up and down a lot.

Mannie,

Hey! Welcome Back!

By Tuesday, you should be all tuned up. Get out in that sunlight, makes the lag go away faster...oop, I forgot, you live in Seattle.

We have snow on the ground out here and Croc has sent the cold winds down upon us. I actually love winter...makes me feel peaceful.

It's A16's 19th birthday today - we are doing a brunch with A18's world famous omelette.

The triptophane (sp?) has worn off from all the turkey so I am alert and ready to rock.

How about Polvy's Ponies over Dallas.
