Sure pal, keep whistling past the graveyard. The earth is a finite place, oil is a finite resource and 'easy" oil is an even MORE finite resource.

Chindains want to drive their own cars, just like Americans do. Demand will continue to increase. Something's gotta give. The terrorists the chimp is breeding LIVE where the easy oil is pumped, the oil that is the lifeblood of America's and the world economy.

Denial IS the easiest course, as always.

Hubbert's model, published in 1956 worked for US oil production and it's peak. Hubbert was off by 5 years as I pointed out in a previous posting. Hubbert predicted 1975, US oil production peaked in 1970.

Your theory is that "It shows prediction models for peak oil do not predict."

Hubbert lay the ground work for oil production prediction in 1956 and in 1970 the value of this work was confirmed.

So prediction models can work. I hope we can agree on that.
