Chin, you are so far off base I'm not even going to try and correct your post. To say the least you're wrong. Women are perfectly able to choose their own paths. To carry on some sort of career or be a stay at home mother is something you talk about with your fiance BEFORE marriage. You have this stereo typical image of conservative life style that's rather dated........ The idea of the nuclear family is not dead, it's an ideal held still by both parties but modern times dictates what is realistic and that usually means that both husband and wife hold jobs. I think you've been reading too many womens lib booklets........

Chinu, You must be drunk. If Cindy is a middle class American woman that stays at home, how come she ended up in Crawford, Texas? Why did she insist on going on a talk show? Why has she written a book? If she raised her Son, why did he ignore her wishes, and re-enlist in the Army, and sided with his Father against his Mother? Why did she make a spectacle of herself, and bring shame down on her family? She, and she alone, has besmirched her entire family. Doesn't seem odd to you, that no member of her family supports her in any way? Get your head out of your A**. There is nothing normal, or American, about that insane woman. The women in my life, actually did the things you mentioned as being so American, and which Cindy has not done.
