I took Atenolol for several years. Which amused me because that's what I had for years given my cat, who had cardiomyopathy. Weird coincidence. Yes, Atenolol is definitely priced right for a cat. For a person, too, I guess.

I have had serious side effects from Lipitor (cholesterol) and Altace (BP). A couple of other statins didn't do enought. And I won't tolerate the side effects from niacin. I figure I have enough constraints so I don't complicate things by considering cost as an added factor.
