You'd think title companies get hurt as transaction volume slows. Much lower existing sales and end of refi boom should hurt bottom line big time down the road? Yet here they sit right at all time highs. Are they discounting a strong spring season, another round of refi's or perhaps a very big increase in foreclosures? The short interest seems way to small to create a short squeeze as with some of the homebuilders and subprime lenders.
