And he sounds so reasonable and rational when he first posts to you.

Speaking of appearances can be deceiving, add Scanlon to the Abramoff school of people who look like good guys that in reality are crooks. Seriously, he looks like such a preppy, well mannered, mama's boy, I have a hard time reconciling his bad behavior with his looks. I never realized what a significant bias that was on my part. I'll have to watch it.

And the female GOPer in my class, one of her favorite hobbies is to count how many ummms and uhhhs we say when making a presentation, and then tell the person when they get done. That is a significant issue among would be teachers...something they feel a strong need to overcome. So her gleeful telling of the number at the end of a presentation can be real discouraging. However, guess who doesn't have that problem.......that's right, Ms. GOPer rarely utters an ummmm or an uhhhh. ;)
