Your arguing degrees of torture.

Who knows what goes on in these secret prisons? I suspect one of the reasons they are secret is because illegal things go on there. Why else would they be secret?

I suspect Bush in his rush to end hostilities in Iraq may have begun torturing insurgents. That’s changing the way the US has fought wars.

Bush was lecturing the Chinese about human rights because they hold dissidents without charge and subject them to aggressive interrogation techniques.

I don't see a lot of difference and I don't trust Bush - we already know his judgement is off.

Glad you said that. I was thinking about the whole thing of torture the other day---------and thought of the people who have been "beheaded" by the terrorists.

Sure America can sit back and do nothing and be the nice guys and then we get the Pentagon bombed and the Worldtrade Center taken down-------that's already happened.

Those terrorists have shown everyone what real torture is---it's unfortunate that we have such evil in this world but we do. What America is doing pales in comparison. jmho
