eastern hoser - i was remiss the other night in not welcoming you to the bar - the nnbm bar - it unofficially stands for 'never, never be mean'. well, that's what i like to think anyway. silverbeaver.net in a post a while back i pointed out who everybody was - now i forget what i said, so i can't do it again. but i do remember saying the guy lurking behind the post is our leader and as thames_sider refers to him, the 'heart of the bar' elpolvo. maybe clappy or altie can fill you in on the others. ... such beautiful animals they are.. i read a couple of your posts to ralph about your dogs. you can tell a lot about people by how they feel about animals - i think you'll like hanging out here when you have the time and inclination. we got some snow yesterday - big fat wet snowflakes - about two inches worth. and, it's still out there. it looks great. i'm heading out for a grey cup party in an hour or so ..... gotta run. have a good one. -western hoser :)

SC Welcome to the bar! We are a good lot and the cool thing we do is we trade USD's even for Loonies during happy hour. Lots of good stories, good humor, all different ages (I'm 12 years old)and Polvy gives us bar passes so we can visit other threads like Sioux Nation etc. We used to be called the New Network Business Model (NNBM), but Rhoze said she would beat the living shit out of us if we didn't change the name to Never, Never, Be Mean.
