Never has Congress been this blatant....it comes, in part, from one party controlling all three branches of the gov't It's always been this way - they don't talk about other Senators pork from either side of the aisle. It has nothing to do with a single party - if anything the media is to blame as they actually have the resources to bring this type of abuse to our attention. I think term limits to get rid of the old hands at the game would be a good start. You know there are some things that are just not true. There has always been pork..........that's true. But its never been this bad........and its not just a little bad.......its a lot bad. I want you to look at the chart on the link below......the GOP has desperately tried to undermine the chart but can't. Ever since we've had supply side economics, introduced by GOP economists under Reagan..........the federal debt as a %tage of GDP has gone up faster under a GOP president then it does Democrats. And its gone up the worst under Bush....worse than under any other president in the 20th century and probably since the country was founded. Just as they tell you that the gov't running up debt is no big deal; this nonsense that the GOP is fiscally responsible is just that.........nonsense. Its a whole new day and as American citizens we better start looking real closely at what American leaders are doing because they are screwing us up big time! zfacts.com
