WMD? We weren't even discussing WMD. We were discussing the statement by Bush:

"We removed an ally of Al Qaeda"

Where is the evidence of alliance? He made a statement in the positive about the alliance. Now where is the evidence of that alliance?

The non-partisan 9/11 commission, discussing meetings between Al Qaeda and some Iraqi officials said, and I quote, "But to date we have seen no evidence that these or the earlier contacts ever developed into a collaborative operational relationship. Nor have we seen evidence indicating that Iraq cooperated with al Qaeda in developing or carrying out any attacks against the United States."

To date no one has showed any evidence of an alliance...ergo Bush lied in saying that there was one.
