I heard that headline on BBC News today but I didn't pick up that it was from the Iraqi prime minister himself. Hardly a leftwing Bush-basher painting a grim picture for once.....I wonder how Fox will spin this one. Probably condemn him for being spineless and soft on terrorism.

Abuse worse than under Saddam, says Iraqi leader

I have just come to this realization:

I truly believe you can not blame George W. Bush.

I truly believe he does not know any better.

We are where we are in Iraq (it is a real mess there) because of people who should have known better.

I place the entire blame on people that put Georgw W. Bush in office. The people that hyped his credentials, hid or pretended not to see the flaws in his character, and proclaimed George W. Bush was ready and capable of being the President of the United States.

I put the entire blame on George Will, David Brooks, Charles Krauthammer, Peggy Noonan, Bill Kristol, William Safire, and Robert Novak.

In any other line of work, people such as those above, would have lost their reputations, jobs, and be faced with much worse consequences.

Instead, most if not all the above will continue to have prosperous careers and will continue to influence the American electorate.
