Holly, what you ask for is perfectly reasonable. Any sensible person would require the same.

I see that Laz is not answering me. <g>

Carolyn, and I want paved roads which are properly marked WRT to where they lead, with sensibly spaced filling stations and good eateries in which I can, with some reasonable degree of faith, trust the water and the food to not give me some dreaded, obscure disease. Emergency callboxes along those roads is a nice touch but not mandatory.

You'd be advised to stay away from highways in Arkansas.

At the end of the day, I want a clean bed and a clean bathroom, in-room coffee, and reliable high-speed Internet access. Room service is a nice touch but not mandatory.

May I suggest: coralsandspalmsprings.com

However, not sure about in-room wireless.

It's probably a good thing I wasn't born a couple of hundred years ago, for I don't think I would have made the cut as a pioneer.

There is a reason life expectancy in 1901 was 49 years, but I'm not sure it had much to do with hot and cold running water or a lack of wireless internet connection.
