Yeah. Wasn't until 1971 that women got the vote in Switzerland. The US, Canada, and the UK all beat that by a good margin. I remember a stay in a hotel in Mexico owned by Swiss expatriates. The owner's son was criticizing US involvement in the Vietnam War. I asked him why Switzerland was selling guns, cannons, and bullets to the Nazis right up until about 5 minutes before the armistice. Never did get an answer. OTOH, I flew from Tunisia through Zurich on my way to Riyadh. The contrast was stunning! Everything was so CLEAN and they had EVERYTHING there!
