The war of occupation—dubious in origin, incompetent in execution, opaque but ominous in ultimate consequences—continues. Congressman Murtha is deeply worried. And many Americans are becoming deeply angry.

You mean like you and the Republican party showed disrespect for the office of the President during the Clinton years? Sheesh... What a hypocrite you are.

There will probably be a democrat in office next election- and no doubt the same conservatives who went insane about Clinton, will go insane about that president too- no doubt some of their insanity will result in cheapening the office of president. There are always people who will cheapen the office because of the party in power, and because their hate is rather indiscriminate, it's just the way it is. I'm sure people are all very very sure the name calling they do is justified, because they are so Very Very Very correct.

"Someday there will be a Democrat in that office again. "

And when there is, you right wingnuts will call him names, just as you did with Bill Clinton! It comes with the territory. Bush has shown me NO REASON to call him anything other than the chimp. He's the worst President in my lifetime. Respect is EARNED, not bestowed by office. The chimp has earned NONE.
