San Diego update. Back in June, inventory level was around 12k. It steadily climbed to but has yet broken 16k. Now it is stalled around 15,500. Days on market for the inventory has climbed from 52 to 71 today. Nov 2004 was a very strong november with 3,133 closings with market time of 46 days. So far Nov 2005 through the 25th only had 1,763 closings and 2,200 openings. Of course there were Thanksgiving but so did last year. I think it is likely that we can match the 2,562 closings of Oct 2005.
