Carolyn, Yes, the NG Channel is where it's at for us armchair travelers.

Earlier this week the NG Channel did practically an entire day of programming on world archaeology sites. Sadly, I drifted off to Morpheus while watching. Maybe they will rerun those programs.

There's a quite excellent Internet site with motion videos of ancient ruins. I'll see if I can dig it up from my bookmarks. - Holly
