How cold do your winters get?

Jan.-Feb averages are in the teens and twenties (F). It was 27 degrees this morning. Not to say there are not extremes.

During the winter of 2003-2004, we had very hard freeze. It was -20 F at my partner's house out in the country, and stayed that way for about 4-5 days. Killed most of the grapevines. The only wineries that made wine were the ones who had contracts for grapes from other areas of the state.

Oh, and the summers can get hot. We normally get a week or more with temps over the 100 degree mark.
