Why haven't you PERSONALLY volunteered KLP? Why? There are lies, damn lies and then there are the Heritage Foundation statistics. I am glad, however, that the US military is spending $16 million recruiting at NASCAR. By my back of the envelope calculations that's a cost of about $4K/recruit which is dang good! That's far better than the military using nefarious tactics like getting the names of all high schoolers unless their parents deliberately object. It's also far better than the nefarious Army Video Game tactic that ropes testoterone laden idiot teenagers into thinking that war is a video game. I will believe the crappola about evenly targeting the US population when military recruiters hang out on Park Avenue and at Deerfield rather than at Walmart and Watts.
