Watch a session of the house on C-span sometime & see how the minority (Democrats) have no control of any part of the legislative session. Nothing. Hastert shoots down anything the Democrats bring up. Some Democracy.
But don't take my word, spend some time & see how it's done.

I don't excuse them, but they are not the reason why Illinois, in particular, gets the most pork.

If they are hurting the country, they should not be there. I only wished the GOPers felt the same way.
