Actually, that was a response which ALSO included a non ad hominem aspect. It pointed out that there is no explanation for your interpretation, given the extensive information provided concerning this unfair recounting issue. Re: "you issue a statement that, on the face of it, goes against the denial" You quoted that alleged statement directly. It plainly didn't go against any denial at all. It spoke of unconstitutional recounting, not recounting in general. The context was unmistakable. Hence, your complaint is just a silly waste of time bearing no relationship to my actual statement. Re: "True, he did request a manual recount" LOL. Read the USSC on the subject. It's complicated, yet clear enough. Over and over Gore's lawyer stood up and requested OBVIOUSLY unfair counts be done. It was laughable (and yes I laughed in shear amazement at the gall, and confidently predicted the requests could not stand). The USSC noticed. Gore's requests did not stand the muster of fairness, and a single celled organism could have noticed that, IMHO. The problem here is that Gore requested and supported unfair recounting, no matter who "dictated" the "standards (and I can only presume you mean his lawyers)." This is fully supported by the facts. You want to defend his slimy requests by pretending "manual" recounting is all that represents the core of his sliminess? Fine. LOL. Dan B.
