Hi GZ, I'm in the middle of so many crosscurrents ,I'm long and not sure I should be,but not wanting to give up good positions that could well be explosive to the upside and downside. Last week Cohu broke out to a new high on big volume. The breakout point was 25.91 plus .10= 26.01.Last week I bought 2500 shares on the breakout averaging 26.17 - Friday I scalped them at 27.15. Today the stock held the breakout (dipped to 25.90 and looked like support came in (big sizes on the bid size). So we look OK,but it is do or die time. I wouldn't be surprised to see the shakeout do some more damage - I think hope I'm in a sector that will hold up well and not make it too hard to hold through it all. One never knows. I kept my 401 K money invested- last time I pulled it bought back 19% cheaper.That felt good but I've been hesitant to got to cash as all these indices breakouts have me thinking all we'll see is a bear flag and trap some Bruin friends. The overall looks good. Bond yields going down as the fed talks about raising rates is a disconnect. The fed follows the bond market and the bond market seems to be saying the rate rises are over. Inverted yield curve is another strange event. We're right on the dge of the stock market becoming the favorite asset class again - as real estate cools. It is interesting and there are some unique events happening. The Spiral is still telling us of a change - but I'm not so sure it will be long or big. Famous last words huh?.GG Bob Last but not least I'm flying home to Wisconsin early in the A.M to do a final walk thru on the logging project I've been coordinating for my mother over the last 4-5 years - great that it is over but I'd much rather be by my DSL computer. I'm out of nimble touch for the next 4 days - sometimes that's good. Bob
