Heard this afternoon on the radio that he was back, and said he saw things going well in Iraq....!

I think he's the only current democrat who can win. He's certainly the only, so far that I've seen, who has the credibility to cross party lines and draw votes from the middle.

But he's got a hell of a job trying to control that unruly mob of demagogues that he calls a party.

Even if Bush's numbers are down, it doesn't mean the country wants a Howard Dean style rhetorical "bomb-thrower" taking over.

The question is who the Republicans are grooming to replace Bush. They have a few bomb-throwers of their own. And I don't want some moral majority type trying to turn the US into some Christian Crusade in the Mid-East (which is NOT what I believe Bush has been promoting, contrary to the assertions of the left).

Hawk
