See, regardless of different planets and cities we inhabit, we agree on something. It certainly is a good thing saddam is gone but it is not yet certain that what becomes of iraq will not be worse. I have blamed ops for this mess, but there is a some truth i am afraid in my humpty dumpty analogy of yesterday and a three state solution with talibaistine and shiacrocy and kurd/turk conflagration all make me shudder a bit as it should you if you just accepted that the all good news all the time line you espouse may just be wrong. I am hoping we can fix it but there is much logic in the opposition view that anything we do for whatever reason will not work over time. There is some truth that US presence unites what would be a divided opposition against us and even gives the foreign terrorists some gravitas. And the beat goes on. mike
