I know from experience what fraud can be perpetrated on people who were reared, as I was, where a handshake was a contract.... Since I have had three con men take me for over a million in following their cases one got a 7 year prison term... One still remains free, one died. The one who got the prison term.. Have you ever gone to a prison where someone like this lives as though it were a country club... Ridiculous. Whereas drug users after three strikes get the book thrown at them, hard prison... Our justice system leaves a lot to be desired.. still.

I read this article on the way into work today . I took particular interest in the fact that they said he may have known about the Sept 11th... Why would he try to liquidate his accounts on the 10th? But I recall shortly after 9/11 there was in the news something about an investigation into several 'short' positions that had been taken by certain people. And I never heard anything about that again. It's hard to believe someone knew about 9/11 before it happened unless he was acting on some sort of insider tip? But then why not liquidate all his own accounts too? so I suspect it was just a freak coincidence.
