Bill, you can't be serious. The Republican leadership is doing nothing to clean up the corruption in the Senate and House. In fact, the leadership is involved in the corruption.

Question: What does criminal law have to do with 'resigning'?

(Admittedly, criminals who get caught and exposed often do wind up 'resigning' if they hold a high profile position anywhere... but that's more a factor in 'damage control' and PR, you aren't seriously suggesting that 'resigning' in any way mitigates criminal liability, are you?)
