Yes, what a crazy time it was back then. I moved over to the stock discussion boards here from a board on Compuserve. Remember that company? I think it was bought out years ago. They really had a corner on the market in the early net years.

Funny, Mephisto is the only poster who has a ban on me. ;-) I must have pissed him/her off at some point when the moderated threads expanded. Remember when there were no moderated threads?

I remember when the "Coffee shop" threads first began. A few people tentatively stepped over from stock trading and began talking about this or that. I wish SI would be more vigilant about keeping political discussions off the stock threads, but the manpower required would probably be too great. It's always nice when you can disagree with people about politics or other things, but then totally set them aside when talking about a particular stock. Lefties have a real tough time with that, their hatred just runs too deep I guess.

Uh, Ish.. From 95 to 2000, everyone who bought tech stocks was a genius! A dart and the Nasdaq in the paper was a winner!
