BJ, The Palestinian thing may seem far removed from Iraq, to you, because you can't see the big picture. When you get down to the brass tacks, it is Islam that is trying to destroy Judaism, and Christianity. To them, it is a religious war, and has nothing to do with real estate, or governments. And, remember, they fired the first shot. Whether they were Iraqi, Palestinian, Iranis, Syrians, Saudis, or of any Islamic origin, that flew the planes on 9/11, they ultimately, all have the same goal to make Islam the only religion on earth, and they will keep on killing to achieve that goal, until they are rendered ineffective by warfare. I believe that they have every right to worship according to their religion, but will not condone them trying to take our right to do the same thing.
