History repeats--shares traded down around $2 1/4
in the winter of 2002/3 and again now in 2005/6.
My position is down 25%, which is just terrible
for somebody claims to swingtrade microcap biotechs.
I should have been stopped out, but I am going
to continue to hold the position. My trading account
has not got anywhere the past five years--but
I haven't drained the account either. Maybe it
is enough to break even.

DPI hasn't done anything at all unreasonable--I
don't think their effort to burn less cash is a
reason to part with my shares. The business is
decidedly dull, I would like to see them merge
with another microcap biotech--one that needs cash
but has prospects. If they don't get bought out
or merge, this is indeed going to be a value trap.

But I saw the chart for Rigel just now, getting
whacked for, what, a 60% loss overnight. I can't
be too unhappy--I'll finish the year down about 15%
overall in my trading account.
