That two hour commute would definitely explain the pricing. With the ever increasing gas prices the price will probably get even lower as time goes on.

Since becoming a builder about five years ago I have been watching houses going up around here. It really doesn't seem to matter who the builder is. They are mostly low quality and have gotten steadily worse as the boom picked up steam. I have seen a few well done jobs but it definitely has more to do with the team doing the job than who the builder is.
