Nice board Creede. This is the type of resource sharing that could help everyone who invests in penny stocks. Unlike the bashers who wait to take potshots after the fact, it would be nice to know in advance what information is important. In that way, one could email, call or even visit a CEO. Reporting the results on a board such as this could actually move a stock one way or another. If the perception is that a company intends to be shareholder friendly, it will have an audience that is less likely to be flippers and less swayed by the pumpers and bashers.

Key to me in these is the share structure. I almost don't care about a company's business plan. Often it is technical and only verifiable by someone in the industry. Give me the info about the capital structure and promises that the future dilution is to be limited and accordance with a defined plan and I am interested, almost irrespective of the business plan.

Capital structure and dilution is the part that almost all PR's leave out. You know we see everyday the great PR's that say "anticipate our expectation of hoped for revenues of at least $50 million as our widget gains acceptance in the homeland security, bird flu and cold fusion markets." Nowhere does the CEO or tout indicate how he pays for the equipment, the manufacturing and, of course, the promotion of both the product and the shares.

Creede great Broard!

How about some basic education for non mavens like myself.
Would anyone explain (simple terms)what exactly are and the differences between A/S, O/S, float, etc. What exactly dilution is... why it is so prevalent, alternatives...I think that there are those out there who have a firmer grip on these fundamentals than me (and maybe others). So, if anyone would be indulgent, lets start off here and bring each other up to speed on this great board.

I agree with rruff, this type of board, and it's ideas, can really lead to change as there is strength in numbers.

Again, thanks for this board and I look to learning here!
