CUX's late notice of Amira is still bugging me. This was an impact play.

Was management in a state of shock, did denial set in, why were shareholders not notified on a timely basis?

The well was reported abandoned Monday Nov 21 and rig released right after. Shareholders were notified Monday Nov 28.

People with access to rig data would have known well in advance especially given the 7 days.

The big sellers from Friday Nov 18 - Friday Nov 26 were
National Bank
Anonymous
Orion
UBS
Merrill Lynch
GMP

Questions like "when did the operator notify CUX" is really not relevant as management should have been on top of progress daily, depth, and what the logs were showing while drilling.

Bottom line, management is not ready to take on these big projects ... yet, IMHO.
