For a while in my area kids could buy a box of little tiny explosive balls you could detonate by dropping on the sidewalk. I figured out you could pack a bunch of 'em into a ball of mud and throw it against a brick wall for a nice effect. Toy hand grenades! <g>

Fortunately I got out of the MacGyver phase and moved on to more creative pursuits like model airplanes.
