Shoot.. you're reading it right now.. FOR FREE!! It's been fun to have a chance to participate on this discussion board again (during my vacation).. I don't get much chance to participate during breaks at work.. It keeps my mind sharp and forces me to document my logic. Maybe one day I'll write something about my experiences and insights (often obtained via discusssions with others).. But I'm not sure if it would pass the censors. Lot's of things need to be changed and made more efficient and effective. But given our proclivity for importing our bureaucracy along with our military forces, the turf battles we wage during peace become more acute during conflict. Personally, I'm a pragmatist who was adhers to the doctrine of "whatever works best", rather than adhering to jurisdictional turf on the part of different agencies. Unfortunately, there are those who would seek to increase their official and personal prestige and power, rather than focusing on the mission and the tactics and strategies that obtain the best results in the least amount of time and treasure.
