I remember arguing this exact same point a couple of years ago with a long gone regular on this board (Nadine). It was with regards to Total/ELF Fina and Russian oil companies that were profiting from Iraqi oil in the 90s versus our foreign aid policies and their ramifications. Whats that adage about the pot calling the kettle black.......funny really in hindsight, if you take a look at Halliburton revenues and their stockchart since 2003.
