"The majority of the countries attacked are Muslim countries. And although not stated, the vast majority of the victims of al Qaeda's violence are Muslims."

Makes one wonder what is really going on. Anyone can claim to be Al Qaeda or to be speaking for them since they don't exactly have an official media spokesperson, head office or an official website. BTW, I do think Islamist fundamentalists are nuts and dangerous and need to be dealt with.

It seems to me that more than one group wants to see a prolonged war between the Christians and Muslims.

It is interesting to compare the yours and ggamer's posts.

Your link and comments relate to individuals committing atrocities whereas ggamer's points to state (U.S.) sponsored atrocities.

If it is state sanctioned then the collective, i.e. the populace, can reasonably be held responsible whereas this is ridiculous in the case of individuals. I am sure you wouldn't appreciate it if every criminal act in NJ were collectively blamed on you.
