Stalin was as bad as Hitler but the russians were the major thing that stood in the path of the nazis. Without the russians even with their brutal leader the world never would have been the same. Stalins fp was far more defensive than hitler and he was far more interested in some geographical protection for the ussr that puppet states gave him. But conquering the world thru the use of his armies was never his plan. mike
