My concern is that if we show weakness in Iraq we will be inviting mass terrorism here. Show weakness? What are you daft? We are giving them training in how to kill US troops by insurgency! Your kind of whacko thinking is what kept us in Viet Nam for another 30,000 US soldier deaths. Show weakness....Kee-rist man, we show weakness when we have the finest military in the world trying to perform policing skills for which they were not trained and then getting them vulnerable behind it. We won the freakin war in two weeks, if we didn't have our heads so far in the clouds, we would have brokered a deal ahead of time with the UN to come in at that point and act as a buffer to allow us to disengage and get out. I will agree that we cannot get out like we did in Saigon (another Republican cluster-up). We need to get the world community together, state that if they can come up with an acceptable buffering plan, we will turn control over to the Iraqis. We need to get after it before we get even more bogged down. No platitudes, no dishonor, just cooperation and disengagement. Show weakness.....you've got a serious case of tunnel vision dude, you who accuse others of not having traveled enough. We have provided a live-fire training camp across two whole countries for better than 3 years and you want it to continue so more terrorists can get skilled. Whether we leave now or in thirty years, we will have massive terrorism threats. We have gone into a culture where revenge is part of the way of business and have killed scores of thousands, jailed thousands others, and defiled and destroyed their Holy places. We haven't begun to see the payback......and you want to stay and create more...... Timba
