I'd like it just fine if it were "you cut your pork and I'll cut my pork."

Or "you cut this program and I'll cut that program."

I don't like "you cut this program or I'll cut your pork."

Which is the same as "you support this program or I'll cut your pork."

Sure, the latter costs less, which is a good thing, but extortion is not something I want to support, even to get budget cuts.
